Hi, I’m George a professional guitarist, songwriter, and music teacher, and the founder of String Theory Guitar Tuition.

I started offering one-to-one guitar lessons in 2016, and since then I’ve helped students of all levels develop confidence, creativity, and real musical ability on the instrument.

Alongside teaching, I perform and write music professionally. I’ve released my own music under my artist name, George Hall, including the album More Than Scars and I regularly work as a live and session musician.

Over the years, I’ve played in a wide range of musical settings  from blues and jazz trios to rock bands, festival stages, and professional cruise ship performances. I also studied at the Academy of Contemporary Music, which helped shape both my playing and my approach to teaching.

My focus is simple: helping you actually enjoy playing guitar while developing the skills you need to play real music. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced player looking to progress, lessons are tailored to your goals and paced around your learning style.

The aim is always the same, to make you feel confident, capable and inspired on the guitar.
